“150 Years of Telephony” exhibition partner of WPC

We are proud to announce a major exhibition curated by our member Marcello Cecconi dedicated to the History of Telephony, which will be held from March 17 to April 19 in Pavilion C1 of the Cittadella Galileiana in Pisa.

2026 is a year full of anniversaries for collectors, the oldest of which is the 150th anniversary of the invention of the telephone, patented by Alexander Graham Bell on March 7, 1876.

We don’t want to reveal anything in advance so you can fully enjoy all the incredible surprises you’ll find as you explore the exhibition, which will also be enriched by illustrious guests and interactive rooms.

  • The Telephone Library
  • Gadgets
  • Advertising
  • Music and Telephony Sounds
  • For the interactive section, two exchanges will be installed, one manual with two-wire switches and the other automatic Siemens with lifting and rotating selectors, as well as an exhibit called “The Spagofono.”
