The Phonecard Museum, based in Australia, is the world’s reference online archive for phonecard collectors, offering an extensive digital archive, cataloguing tools and research materials for enthusiasts from around the world.
The Museo Telefonia Pubblica, located near Parma, is the largest museum in Italy dedicated to public telephony. It preserves the telephones, booths and tokens that form the cultural world in which the phonecard was born and flourished.

The Collector Stories series lands in Florida, home of Steve Schwartz: a dealer since 1977, he has built an inventory of over one million phonecards and a USA reference collection destined one day for a museum.
WPC Club and the Museo Telefonia Pubblica launch the Italian Public Telephones Catalog, the first official catalog of Italian public telephones. Every collector can contribute photos, models, and documentation, and every contributor is credited by name in the catalog.
Our Collector Stories series continues with Andrea Franzoni, an Italian collector who for 28 years has gathered only Italian phonecards: around 12,000 pieces, with a preference for prototypes and printing errors. It all began in a hospital, in 1998.
