On April 18, 2026, during the PIM event held in Grugliasco, a charity auction brought together attendees, companies, and enthusiasts in a concrete initiative supporting scientific research. The total proceeds, amounting to €2,000, were fully donated to the Fondazione Piemontese per la Ricerca sul Cancro, a leading Italian organization funding oncology research and supporting the Candiolo Institute.
The auction was one of the central highlights of the event, featuring active participation exclusively in person. The audience engaged directly in the bidding process, creating a lively and dynamic atmosphere that contributed to the success of the fundraising effort.
Among the most appreciated items was a signed jersey by Kenan Yıldız, made available by Juventus FC, which drew strong interest from football fans. Alongside this standout piece, the auction included several collectibles, particularly telephone cards and vintage telephones, appealing to a niche yet passionate group of collectors.
Beyond the financial result, the initiative also had a meaningful impact in raising awareness. During the event, the importance of supporting cancer research was emphasized, highlighting how even modest contributions can directly support the daily work of researchers and healthcare professionals.
