What is the PIM?

The PIM – Phonecards International Meeting is the world’s largest annual event dedicated to phonecard collecting and the history of public telephony. Organized every April by the Worldwide Phonecards Collectors Club, the PIM brings together collectors, exhibitors, and enthusiasts from 26 countries at the Parco Culturale Le Serre in Grugliasco, Turin.

Entry is always free and open to everyone, from seasoned collectors to those discovering phonecards for the first time. Each edition features exhibiting collectors from around the world, special thematic exhibitions tied to the history of public telephony, and the WPC Club Charity Auction, where 100% of proceeds go to a selected charity partner.

Since its first edition in 2024, the PIM has grown to welcome over 3,000 visitors across three editions, establishing itself as the primary international reference point for phonecard collectors worldwide.

Reading the numbers

Exhibitor numbers decreased across editions as the PIM sharpened its focus exclusively on phonecard collecting, the first edition also welcomed collectors of coins, stamps, bottle caps, and Do Not Disturb cards. At the same time, visitor numbers grew fourfold, from 400 in 2024 to 1,600 in 2026. A more specialised event, with a larger and more engaged audience.
