Public telephones are where phonecards lived: every card in your collection was designed to be inserted into one of them. Together with the Museo Telefonia Pubblica, WPC Club is building the first official catalog of Italian public telephones. If you own photos, models, technical documentation, or direct knowledge of any Italian public telephone, we invite you to take part.
The Museo Telefonia Pubblica (MTP), based in Alberi, Italy, is the Italian museum dedicated to the preservation and display of public telephones, booths, and equipment from every era of Italian public telephony. WPC Club and the MTP work together on this project as structural partners: WPC Club collects and evaluates contributions from the collector community, while the MTP provides the historical expertise behind the catalog. Every contribution is reviewed, and every contributor is credited by name.
Fill in the form below with a brief description of what you can share: photos of public telephones, models in your possession, technical manuals, brochures, or personal knowledge about installations, manufacturers, and variants.
WPC Club reviews every submission together with the Museo Telefonia Pubblica, checking historical relevance, model identification, and image quality. We may follow up with a few questions before proceeding. The evaluation is entirely on our side.
If your contribution is relevant, it becomes part of the first official catalog of Italian public telephones. Your name is always credited as source next to the material you provided, in the catalog and in any related publication.
Tell us what you own or what you know about Italian public telephones. We will get back to you within a few days. Prefer WhatsApp? You can also send photos and information directly to +39 331 179 3728.
